Makedo is a cute product: a kit that helps kids make things out of cardboard boxes (often the most-played with bit of other toys, if the maxim is to be believed).
The design is pretty clever, and includes a 'safe' plastic saw, and several re-usable clips and hinges which can join pieces of corrugated cardboard together without the need for scissors, glue or sellotape. They've got a neat video on their website which demonstrates how it works.
It originates from Australia, and was designed by Paul Justin, with a nod towards the 'maker' culture arising in craft and geek communities.
