Well, what a busy weekend I had. Saturday was spent moving to my new flat in Dulwich, which was not without its upsets. The bed man arrived before we had got there (even though I had asked for it a bit later), and so it took many phone calls before we could finally pick it up from a store and assemble it ourselves. There were also problems with the sofa, which Fiona's parents kindly donated, as it didn't seem to be able to fit through the front door. A few hours later and it was finally in, having taken the front door off its hinges and the metal casters off the bottom of the sofa.
Still, the flat is better than I remembered it, with a great view out the back over the tops of some trees, and enough space for us to be able to unpack pretty quickly.
On Monday, I also started my new job, which is working as a Web Developer for the Science Museum in South Kensington. It's a really exciting role, for an organisation that I've always loved, and so I'm really happy to have got the job there. The first day was spent walking through the galleries and getting set up. I have to learn ASP, which will be a bit of a learning curve, but I hope that I'll be able to contribute to the organisation and play a part of their exciting web team.
