Eurostar on the Silverlink

Whilst standing around on the cold platform of Kentish Town West waiting for the Silverlink train, a Eurostar train unexpectedly zoomed past. Now I’m no trainspotter, but this is unusual. I wonder if it has anything to do with the new Channel Tunnel Rail Link (to Stratford)?
