[Slightly] new look website

Hello. I've just updated the design of my website/blog. It's something that I've been tinkering with for ages, and so actually having made the changes live feels like a minor achievement in personal getting-round-to-it productivity.

It's not a radical change, more of an evolution, but hopefully it makes the site a bit more useful and usable.

I won't bother to list all the changes, but here are a few:

• All text now in serif (Georgia, to be precise). Plus, the font-size has been upped. I think this improves readability.
• Comments are now formatted properly. With avatars. And comment-threading is enabled.
• The home page now actually lists the most recent blog posts. And has a sidebar on the right with a newly-updated link lists and other related stuff.
• Tag pages and category pages have been tweaked a little, in an attempt to make them more useful as ways into the archives. (Of course, now I actually have to go back and make sure everything is tagged and categorised in a more meaningful way.)

There's a couple of caveats. The first is that I haven't enabled search yet - it's on the to-do list, but I wanted to spend a bit more time getting it right before adding it in. The second is that I've only tested the design in Firefox, Chrome and Safari on a Mac. I haven't tested it in any version of Internet Explorer (IE) - mainly because I don't have easy access to it. So, if you happen to be using Windows, and if the site looks overly dodgy in some version of IE, please let me know so that I can try and fix it.

And for those of you reading this in Google Reader (or whatever other feed readers people still use), feel free to disregard everything I've just said.
