Tat @ The Garage

It's not often that I even bother to get to a gig early enough for the support bands (unless I'm specifically going to see them), rarer still actually enjoy a support act. However, TAT at the Garage a couple of weeks ago were pretty good.

The teenage female singer had a strong voice, and sung in a punk/rock style. The music was carefree, and you could see the singer trying to distance herself from Avril Lavigne and other young pop artists.

The only problem was that the rest of the band looked like middle aged men desperately trying to hang on to their school days (the bare-chested drummer wearing a comical sideways baseball cap).

The singer could go far, but she needs to ditch the band and find some people her own age to rock with.
