Spooks, Series 3 Episode 2

Well, episode 2 of the third series of Spooks was certainly interesting. At the start, we see Tom acting a bit crazy and ruthless in his running of Operation Flytrap, whilst everyone else looks on worriedly. Then, everything swings around and it's Tom who is having a crisis of conscience. The episode ends with the operation failing, but Tom losing his job.

Is this the end for Tom Quinn? I certainly hope not. Maybe he'll not appear in the next couple of episodes, but I have a feeling that he'll be back. His story isn't over yet...

I was also excited to see that lots of this episode was shot at UCL, including some nice scenes set in and around the Quad (by the big stone columns), and in the Gustav Tuck Lecture Theatre. Whilst I could recognise all this as clearly being UCL however, the location was titled as being 'Queen's College London', which doesn't actually exist...

I was slightly disappointed to find out that the interactive game following the programme was the same as last week's. I guess this means that the same training programme will be repeated for the first five episodes, and then the mission will start.
