Blair and the White Wristband (and others)
This picture is apparently of Tony Blair’s arm sporting a ‘make poverty history’ wristband:

Someone shoot me. The point of wearing the band is, surely, as a campaigning device to try and send a message [to the governments of the world] that you want poverty to be stopped. So maybe Blair could commit with actions, not symbols?
The white poverty wristband isn’t the only one of course, there are plenty of others, including ’self-harm’, in orange (presumably campaigning against rather than supporting), ‘anti-bullying’, in blue (ironically also marking wearers out as an easy target for bullies) and ‘organ donor’, in green (wear it on any part of your body you don’t mind donating).
Hey kids, collect them all!
