Happy Christmas Everybody!

Hope you’re all having a nice Christmas. I got up earlier than everyone else, read a book for a bit, then my dad cooked us breakfast (including lavabread and cockles), then we went for a walk around Wanstead flats, then came back, ate some cake, drank some sherry and port, tried to solve the Bedlam Cube (without success so far), and are currently waiting to eat our dinner of quails in a saffron-infused cream sauce. Then we’ll probably watch Dr Who.

Only downer so far has been that central heating isn’t working, as we can’t figure out how to re-pressurise the system. So it’s a bit cold, but not too bad.

Still more than a week before returning to work – bliss! Not sure what I’m doing new year’s eve yet. Have a good ‘un…
