Resonance FM awarded five year community radio license

The central London based art radio station Resonance FM was awarded one of Ofcom's much sought-after community radio licenses at the start of the year.

It's no huge suprise - Resonance FM were one of the original pilot community radio stations, and have been very successful. But it's very good news for the station, as it means they get a five year FM broadcast license for fairly cheap.

If you're outside of London or can't pick up the frequency, you can listen online or download some of their podcasts to get a taste of their eclectic station sound.

They're about to launch a 'Friends of Resonance' scheme to help bring in some much needed cash, so support them if you like them and have some cash.
