Blackout at Brixton

Went to Brixton yesterday, to pick up some stuff. On the way back, I had to wait for the train at Brixton station in almost complete darkness, as the station had suffered a ‘power failiure’. There were a few people from the ticket office standing around holding battery-powered florecent tubes (do they always stock these in case of an emergency, I wonder), but it was still damn dark.

The creepiest thing was when a Eurostar train speeded through the station:
