BBC Comedy Soup

The new BBC Comedy Soup website launched today. It’s ‘a breeding ground and showcase for original comedy’. You can upload comedy images and, er, e-mail in audio and video, rate other people’s stuff, download Creative Archive stuff to use in your stuff, and there’s even tagging and tag clouds.

My favorite bit of the site so far though is that in the left hand nav there’s a header that says ‘watch’ and then under that three links that say ‘video and animation’, ‘images’ and, er, ‘audio’.

Seriously, though, it looks cool, and I urge those creative readers of mine (I know you’re out there) to check it out.

My one request is for RSS feeds of the most recently uploaded ‘assets’, including a podcast-enabled one for the audio content scratch that as it’s not possible coz the audio files are streaming, not mp3s. Boo.
