Results Day

So today is the day that many undergraduates will find out the results of their degrees. I graduated last year (with a 2i), but many of my friends are a year behind. This year of course, some students will be getting their results late, due to lecturers industrial action, where they've refused to hand in their markings. The level of disruption to students individually depends on how many of their lecturers are unionised though.

My girlfriend Fiona has just called me excitedly to tell me that she's unexpectedly received a first! My dad is also graduating this summer, and is expecting a first, though I'm not quite sure how or where his final result is announced. Well done to them both though.
