BBC Home Reboot competition - Results

My competition entry for the BBC homepage 'reboot' competition, which I called BBC:Refresh, has been declared one of the ten runners-up, I discovered this afternoon. It's nice to get the recognition, especially as it was really more of a wireframe than a design (I'm not that visually creative). The judges said:

Here again we've been a bit paradoxical in the sense that we've shortlisted this site although overall there were other designs that we valued more. What swung it was incredible documentation. Frankie really does show us "his working out".

The winning design was by FF Ecosystem: BBC Malkovich. Well done to him!

I hope the BBC build on the competition by also being fairly open about how their actual redesign process develops, as I'm sure it will be interesting to read about the decisions and dilemmas that they go through.

Oh and I think I win an iPod or something, which will be cool.
