Banner adverts

It’s not my normal role at work, but I quite enjoyed making these quick banner adverts for some events at the Dana Centre, seen here on the Dim Sum website.

Technically, the one at the top is the banner ad, and the one on the right is called a ‘skyscraper’, and although I didn’t realise they’d both be used at the same time I think it looks okay. The colours do, co-incidentally, almost match up with those of the site, which is perhaps a bad thing for the website but a good thing for the adverts.

I had to do some Photoshopping on the picture of the female with the soup bowl, but I’ll leave it to you to see if you can spot it.

    If you want an honest suggestion, I would say, change the girl image OR better if you make her black and white. Because her skin color is really not blending with the whole ad. And after you make her black and white, keep the contrast level high too.
