When technology goes wrong

I’ve been experiencing some annoying, if comical, problems with the Vodafone mobile phone network today. It’s been impossible to have conversations lasting more than a couple of minutes without suddenly being ’switched’ into a phone call with a random stranger. At one point, I even tried to call a friend, but ended up listening to an answerphone message left for a random stranger instead. So there’s lots of crossed wires going on. I can’t find any news from Vodafone on what the problem is though.

Additionally, my ADSL connection seems to be intermittent, occasionally losing a web connection and then re-finding it a few minutes later.

Plus, my landline phone has stopped working. I can’t work out yet whether this is due to the phone line or the physical phone.

Urgh, so annoying when everything goes wrong. Plus I’m not feeling well. So am sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, dozing off at regular intervals…
