Cliched promotional flash games

Games that have been done-to-death in promotional ‘virals’:

• Top Trumps. (this is a boring card game. it’s even more boring as an online card game. especially when you’re playing against a computer). [Examples: CBBC, NHM]
• ‘Find the pairs’. (like the above but even more so). [Example: National Maritime Museum]
• A version of Pac Man. Probably the most over-done flash game ever. The original was fun. A version where you replace the Pac Man character with whatever product you’re promotion is transparently derivative. [Example: Science of Spying]
